Sunday Morning Worship Service at 8:30 A.M.

SPECIAL THANK YOU! Thank you Pam Hill and Jennifer Nix for that wonderful pancake breakfast that you served to Christ Fellowship on this past 1st Sunday Breakfast. It was very much appreciated!

Alma Newitt: Alma called this week and she said that her ankle, which was broken earlier in the year has healed without surgery. There was a very serious concern that her ankle fracture would require surgery in order to heal properly, but that is she could keep the ankle immobile for 3 to 4 months, she might be able to avoid the procedure. With much prayer and God's hand of healing...Alma is up and walking again! She says that she has some swelling but that it is getting better with each day. thank you Lord for hearing our prayers.

Sharon Earnest: Sharon will be leaving for Colombia this week after a stop over in Atlanta, GA to visit friends in Powder Springs. She will be ministering in the areas that she and Reid ministered when they served as missionaries there before becoming the leaders at Christ Fellowship in the mid 80's. Please remember her in your prayers.

Roy and Ann Michell: Ann will be undergoing knee replacement surgery on November 3. Please remember her in prayer this week as she enters recovery and please remember Roy as he must take on a greater role in the home and in helping her to recover from this second knee replacement.

Ruth and Ralph Stanley: Please keep Ruth and Ralph in your prayers. Ruth will be going to a rehabilitation home in Lucketts this week and the plans is also to have Ralph join her as soon as he is released from the medical facility in Leesburg.

Wendy: For those of you who know Wendy, please continue to lift her up in prayer as she serves the nations. She is meeting with greater success in spreading the Gospel with people who have never had the opportunity to hear God's Word. Standing with her in prayer is a blessing to her and to those she is called to walk along beside.

ELDERS MEETING:
The next scheduled meeting of the elders is Tuesday, November 11th.

MAIN STREET NOONTIME PRAYER: Join us when you can for an hour of prayer. Sow seeds of revival with your participation as often as you can be with us. We are meeting new local prayer partners. We need volunteers to help with opening the weekday prayer sessions for the community, passing out leaflets, inviting people to come and pray.

Jim & Pam Hill Home Meeting: Jim and Pam’s home meetings are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, Jim and Pam Hill have opened their home to present a teaching series by Lewis R. McClenahan on Father’s Love. All are welcome.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER: Did you know that there is a prayer gathering at Christ Fellowship every Wednesday evening at 7:30 P.M. Everyone is welcome. Please note the new starting time.

Church Mission Trip: The ministry team returned from Wichita, KS. The team was well received by David Griffin, Jr.’s church. Bill presented the church with a message from Genesis 12, Deut 28, and Acts 10 regarding the progressive revelation of God’s plan for the church. We also had much opportunity to pray for members of their church and to speak prophetically over many members as the Lord gave us His Word to speak.

Tuesday Evening Meeting

We meet at 6:30 at Betty Kilgour’s home and everyone is welcome.  We are an intercessory prayer and personal ministry focused group.  God has been faithful to answer prayers concerning jobs, illnesses, life mates and a host of other things.  If you have prayer requests, give us a call at 703-777-8032.  The Lord has told Betty that as others agree with her in prayer, He will answer them. So, we pray believing.

Wednesday Night Worship and Prayer Open House

Meets 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Christ Fellowship.  These meeting are for those who recognize a personal need to seek and worship the Lord in earnest to enter into priestly ministry.  It provides an opportunity, a forum and a time to deepen one’s relationship with Lord.  Format is minimal; we try to hear the voice of His spirit and act according to what He shows us.

People interested in coming call Ed Nix at 540-338-6444, or simply come on
Wednesday evening.

Saturday Night Group

The Saturday night group is hard to pin down!  We usually meet at Libby’s house, but sometimes at the Kinser’s or the Scheel’s.  We meet at 7:30 on Saturday nights.  The group is usually led by Bob Dowell, but directed by the Holy Spirit, which makes the content a little unpredictable.  Our meeting usually consist of prayer, praise, teaching and conversation.  Those often in attendance include Bob & Lucille Dowell, Bill & Alma Newitt, George & Debbie Kinser,  Gene & Annette Scheel, Tim & Martha Nix, Libby Ely, Rena Leonard, Maureen McClung, and Elizabeth Smith.
